Swedes invent clever flood barrier

Long dark winters, freezing outside, mist and rain give Swedes plenty of time to think and invent.
They produced the Boxwall, which stands out because of its sturdy simple design and effectiveness.
It looks like a plastic Ikea chair with the legs missing, but actually is a clever device that even works well in flash floods. Maximum water height is 500mm.
Since its introduction the Boxwall has been a significant success in both Europe and Asia.
