Hytrans serves mobile water system to Pearl-Qatar
The wealthy gulf state has installed the best of the best to protect its $15 billion plus artificial island development in Doha’s West Bay Lagoon.  The mobile Hytrans Hydrosub 900 pump can pump 24,000 liters of water per minute from any water source, an ideal piece of equipment for the Pearl consisting of 13 heavily populated islands surrounded by the waters of the Persian Gulf.  Brigadier Abdullah Muhammed Al Suwaidi from Qatar Civil Defense said ‘ In major fire emergencies, the main issue is always water flow and pressure, access, time and distance. Therefore, it is always necessary to be able to pump from open water sources and this system allows us to do that.” The system includes 2 Mercedes hookarm trucks to move the pump and  HFS Powerfoam .  “This system can pump thousands of litres of water to an area when needed in an emergency.”
