kyowa The bags are durable for 30 years of UV exposure and are very resistant to impacts and pressure. The bags will prevent flood damage and erosion. They are easily placed and will have excellent resistance to river water. As can be seen very little manual labour is used in the installation process. Usually no riverbed preparation is required reducing labour costs. The bags are placed at the foot of a river bank to provide erosion protection and stability. BEFORE: Ecogreen rock bags are made of recycled polyester mesh. AFTER: The mesh bags are porous allowing oxygen and water to support plant growth. DURING: The rock filter bags have been around since 197 so have a proven lifespan of over 30 years. They have been tested for a lifespan of 50 years in saline water. The bags can be lifted from one point – a steel ring- which makes installation possible without lots of manual labour. AFTER: Local stone can be used to fill the mesh bags. Small sized stones have been used to optimise flexible formation of the bags to the surrounding bags and ground. Placement of Kyowa bags on a river bank for stability. The bags are easily piled and form a stable wall. The bags are made of recycled polyester and are durable in saline marine water. They are porous and encourage fauna and flora to develop. BEFORE: Subsidence has caused river bank and road to collapse. The rock bags have a lifetime minimum of 30 years against UV rays. The Ecogreen bags are made from recycled polyester & are green coloured and suited to a river landscape. The bags are used at the front of the bank as foot protection. They are laid flat and adapt well to the canal bed surface. They will provide anti-scouring protection for the river bed. The nets are easily placed in position with a single point for lifting. The Japanese Civil Defence forces have used Kyowa bags since 1996. Excellent resistance to currents: 2 tonne bag up to 4.7 m/sec, 4 tonne bag up to 5.3 m/sec. The bags are step piled and will absorb wave energy well. They will accumulate sediments. Usually no riverbed preparation is required for installation of the bags.
