ALCO Power Fighter monitor, a swimming pool per minute over 120 metres

A major player in the Australian petro-chemical industry has chosen trailer mounted ALCO monitors – powered by a large capacity mobile fire water system – to increase their fire fighting capacity.
Their ALCO Power Fighter monitor (photo) is supplied by a water/foam mix from two 12 inch flexible hoses. It can handle between 10,000 and 50,000 litres per minute and has a throw of over 120 metres. As ALCO trailer systems are hydraulically lowered they do not need ballast tanks, making them lighter, easier to deploy and safer.
ALCO Germany was founded in Germany in 1871; FFT distributes ALCO in Australia and New Zealand. ALCO manufactures a wide range of fixed and mobile monitors from 200 to 60,000 litres per minute, including oscillating, electrically controlled and customized
versions for water, foam and powder. ALCO monitors are used for fire extinguishing, cooling, to quell gasses, vapours and dust and for cleaning processes. ALCO monitors service industries and fire brigades around the world.
